Patent Agents (Non-Attorney) Aid inventors and invention owners in obtaining a patent for their invention. Interview clients and conduct research to understand invention. Draft and prosecute patent application for invention. Respond to U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) actions. Agents and Business Managers of Artists, Performers, and Athletes Represent and promote artists, performers, and athletes to prospective employers. May handle contract negotiation and other business matters for clients.
