How To Become a Pilot

The educational requirements for for pilots can be strenuous. A college degree is not technically required but many companies only look for pilots with college experience. A pilots license is the next part in the education of a pilot. In the past the armed forces of the United States trained a large amount of pilots. When these pilots left military service it was common for them to find work in the private sector. With the advent of robotic airplanes and a general reduction in the need for military pilots, many people are forced to get their pilots license through a private firm. Pilots need to gain flight experience in order to qualify for a pilots license. There are a host of FAA-certified flight instruction schools that are able to give flight experience. In order to gain a FAA license one must be at least 18 years old and have 250 hours of flight experience. Healthy eyesight is another requirement to receive a pilot’s license.
