After they complete these evaluations, they have to come up with the best way to extract the gas or oil to redeem the maximum amount they can. They also have to make these methods easy enough for the oil rigs to use on a daily basis without any complications.
Petroleum engineers work on a wide variety of different projects. Their profession requires them to be continually researching and keeping up-to-date with the last technologies available to them to extract oil safely and efficiently. Petroleum engineers can also focus on safety issues associated with extracting oil or gas.
